NEW EQUIPMENT ACQUISITION: CESSNA 172

Cyclone Flying School’s Cessna 172 (IFR Rated) is expected to arrive in Manila from California, USA on June 2009. The aircraft was ferried from Oregon to Los Angeles which is 780 nautical miles away last May 9, 2009. From LA, it will be carried to the Philippines by ship in a container.

Cessna 172 is one of the most popular aircraft for training.  It is probably as docile and easy to fly as an aircraft can be. It's a simple airplane, with simple systems and simple procedures. It is a four seat high-wing aircraft, which is very stable and comfortable to train in. This aircraft is one of the most common airplanes used by flight schools to train students seeking their Private Pilot Certificate, Commercial Pilot License or Instrument Rating as well as a popular rental aircraft.
